PTA
The Friends of St Joseph's is a group formed of parents who work with the school staff to organise a range of events in order to raise funds for projects which benefit the children and the school, but also which provide social and enjoyable opportunities for all members of the school community to come together.

To those of you who haven't yet had involvement or don’t know much about it, the Friends is being established as a charity, made-up of volunteer teaching staff, parents and carers with the aims of:
1. running events for the pupils of St. Joseph’s to enjoy, creating lasting memories of school life (e.g. discos, summer fairs, Christmas events, etc).
2. raising funds, all of which go directly to the school for the benefit of the children’s education and their social experiences and growth.
In addition, we sell second-hand school uniform. Please contact us if you have any you'd like to purchase anything specific, otherwise, be on the lookout for more information to follow this year as we will be running a preloved uniform sale. If you have any uniform your children no longer use which is clean and in good condition, please do drop them in the allocated donation bin located in the school office foyer. We’re happy to receive donations of any other school items (school shoes, bags, etc).
For this year, there are many exciting projects in the pipeline to raise money and we’re looking forward to setting up some incentives which we hope will benefit both the children and you. We know time (and energy!) is limited when balancing life with little ones, work and all of you other commitments but we hope that many of you will be able to help is some small way as we build up this community. If you would like to be involved, whether generally or for the odd event here and there, please do get in touch with us on FOSJ@stjosdevizes.wilts.sch.uk
There is no minimum amount of help required, so even if you just want to know more without agreeing to participate in any events, we’d love to hear from you.
All support is very gratefully received as no fundraising is possible without your input!
